Hybrid Learning
Remote or Hybrid Learning is a term used by Woodpecker Court for a student that may be wholly or partially taught offsite by a mixture of face to face and online sessions. For some students this may be peppered with visits to site, for part or whole days or as appropriate out of usual provision hours. Students that follow this pathway must be approved by Woodpecker Court in advance with the support of the relevant Local Authority Special Educational Needs Department, the decision cannot be made by the young person or the family alone as it is a programme with an aim for the student to become a fully attending on site student.

It is Woodpecker Court’s intention that students that form a part of the hybrid model have an aim to become an integrated student within our or another learning provider’s provision as soon as the young person is ready.
